Are you wondering about life's big questions?Â
Some questions need more than a google search.
Imagine you could talk this through with other people who are asking the same questions. That’s why we run Alpha!
Our Alpha Series is an opportunity to explore the meaning and purpose of life, the God question and where you sit with it all.Â
Everyone is welcome. There is no judgement, no pressure and no charge! Â

Who is it for?
Alpha is for anyone over 18 to 100, who is curious and looking for an open, casual, and honest space to explore life’s big questions.
Whether you’re a regular church goer, wondering why you keep coming to Mass, have fallen away in recent years, never been to a church. Whatever your circumstances, you want to explore life’s big questions.

What do we explore?
Is there more to life than this? Why do people suffer? Who is Jesus? What's the deal with prayer?

How does it work?
Weekly meetings are in person. We start with a welcoming dinner and then watch a video and have a small group discussion.

All Alpha sessions feature a warm welcome, an engaging video and good conversation.
Our parish most recently hosted an Alpha Course for adults, which began on 18 February 2025 and ran weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at St Philip Neri Church Hall.
Each evening started with a warm welcome and a light dinner, including a glass of wine at 7:00 pm. This was followed by a short video presentation and engaging small group discussions, wrapping up by 9:00 pm. The course was free of charge.

The most recent Alpha series has now concluded successfully. However, a waiting list is open, and details about the next intake will be announced once confirmed.

Last year's Alpha was also a great success:
