Sacraments
At Lower North Shore Parish, the Sacraments are at the heart of our Catholic life. They are sacred signs, instituted by Christ, through which we receive God’s grace. Celebrating the Sacraments is a joyful expression of our faith and a powerful way to grow closer to God and to one another as a parish community.

We are committed to journeying with individuals and families as they prepare to receive the Sacraments. Whether you are bringing your child for Baptism, preparing for First Holy Communion or Confirmation, planning your wedding, or seeking the healing grace of Reconciliation or Anointing of the Sick, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Our Sacramental Program Includes:

Baptism
Celebrated regularly throughout the year. Baptism preparation sessions are available for parents and godparents to understand the meaning and responsibilities of this first Sacrament of initiation.

First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
Children typically prepare for these Sacraments during their primary school years. Our parish program involves both parish-based sessions and involvement in school religious education.

Confirmation
This completes the Sacraments of initiation. The program is open to students in Year 5 or above, and includes formation sessions, a retreat, and family involvement.

Marriage
Couples preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony are invited to contact the parish office for information on marriage preparation and available dates.

Anointing of the Sick
Available by request for those facing serious illness, surgery, or advanced age. We also celebrate communal Anointing Masses during the year.

Reconciliation (Confession)
Offered weekly and by appointment. A healing Sacrament that renews our relationship with God.

Holy Orders
For those discerning a vocation to the priesthood or religious life, our parish is here to accompany you in prayer and guidance.
