Belong. Become. Be Sent.
LNS Youth & Young Adults is a vibrant community for high school students, university students, and young professionals who want to grow in faith, build authentic friendships, and live boldly as disciples of Jesus. Whether you’re exploring your faith, returning to the Church, or looking for a strong Catholic community, you are welcome here.

Who We Are

We are young people of Lower North Shore Parish seeking to:
-
Deepen our relationship with Christ
-
Build strong, faith-filled friendships
-
Serve others with compassion
-
Grow in leadership and discipleship
-
Live the Gospel with courage in everyday life

We believe the Church is alive — and young people are an essential part of her mission.

What We Do

Youth Group (High School)
LNS Youth Group is a vibrant community for high school students (Years 7–12), led by our dedicated young adult leaders. On the first and third Sunday of each month, we help lead the 10:30am Youth Mass at St Leonard’s and then gather afterwards for lunch, games, fellowship, and faith-filled formation — a great chance to grow in friendship and in your relationship with Christ.
The group is a great place to explore ones faith and make friends with other like-minded Catholic young people. We do this through:

-
Fellowship, Games & social nights
-
Small group discussions
-
Scripture and faith formation
-
Prayer and Adoration nights
-
Service projects
-
Retreats and special events

Young Adults (18–35)

LNS Young Adults is a community for those in their 20s and 30s who desire more — a deeper faith, authentic friendships, and a clearer sense of purpose. Amid the busyness of careers, study,
relationships, and life’s big questions, we gather to encounter Christ, grow together, and live our faith with confidence and joy.

We meet at St Leonard’s Church every second and fourth Sunday of the month following the 6:00pm Mass. Together, we seek to belong in genuine community, grow as disciples through prayer and formation, and become the men and women God created us to be, so that, grounded in Him, we may be sent to live our faith boldly, serving, leading, and witnessing to Christ in every part of our lives. We do this through:

-
Fortnightly gatherings and formation nights
-
Theology & discussion evenings
-
Adoration and praise nights
-
Social events and dinners
-
Service and outreach opportunities
-
Pilgrimages and retreats

Our Mission
Inspired by the call of Christ to “Go and make disciples,” we aim to form young Catholics who know their faith, love the Church, and serve the world with joy.

We support young people in navigating school, university, work, relationships, and life’s big questions — grounded in Catholic teaching and community.
