We are thrilled to share that the Ministry Expo at St. Thomas was a tremendous success, bringing together over 300 parishioners and more than 10 ministry leads for two consecutive days of faith, fun, and fellowship. The event was a vibrant showcase of our parish's mission: "Together, in Christ's love, for others."
From the moment the expo began, the atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement. Children eagerly participated in the ministry puzzle challenge, visiting each booth to collect stickers and claim their special gifts. Their laughter and energy set the tone for a day of community and connection.
Our choirs created a lively and welcoming vibe with beautiful music that resonated throughout the event, adding to the festive spirit. Meanwhile, the Hospitality Ministry did a fantastic job, providing a delicious BBQ, refreshing drinks, and delightful desserts that everyone enjoyed. The sense of community was palpable as parishioners engaged in conversations with our ministry leads, learning about the various opportunities to share their gifts and serve.
We are especially encouraged by the enthusiastic response from attendees. Not only did many enjoy discovering the different ministries, but we also received a significant number of new recruits who committed to joining our ministries on the spot! This outpouring of support and willingness to serve reflects the strong bond within our community and our collective desire to grow in faith and service.
The STT Ministry Expo is just the beginning of our journey to live out our mission. It showcased the strength and unity of our parish family, demonstrating how each person's unique gifts and talents contribute to our shared mission of serving others in Christ's love. We look forward to the continued growth and deepening of our connections as we work together for a greater cause.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this event. Your involvement and enthusiasm are what make our parish such a vibrant and loving community. Let’s keep this momentum going as we continue to build, grow, and serve together!
