Last Saturday evening, 21st of March 2026 at the 6pm Vigil Mass, our parish at LNS was truly blessed by the beautiful presence and music of our Children’s Choir. It was a moment of grace that reminded us all of the simple, joyful, and sincere way in which children praise God.
As always, the children sang with their whole hearts, like angels lifting their voices in praise and glory to God. Their innocence, enthusiasm, and sincerity were evident in every note. It was not just music; it was prayer. Their voices carried a purity that touched the hearts of everyone present.
What made the evening even more special was the visible support of their parents. Their presence, encouragement, and quiet pride allowed the children to shine with confidence. Together, they became like stars in our parish community, radiating joy and inspiring others. Many parishioners were visibly moved, joining in the singing with renewed energy, drawn into a deeper spirit of adoration and love.
We are especially grateful to Jim Hayden, our dedicated choir master and musician, whose guidance and talent brought out the very best in the children. Supported by our parish choir, the harmony of voices and instruments created a truly uplifting and prayerful atmosphere.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Henny Theodorus, our Children’s Choir coordinator, for her tireless preparation, organizing rehearsals, guiding the children, and ensuring everything flowed smoothly. Her dedication continues to nurture not only musical talent but also the faith of our young parishioners.
Moments like these remind us that the Church is alive and vibrant. Through the voices of our children, we are drawn closer to God.
