The PMC plays a vital role in guiding our parish to the fulfilment of our mission, ensuring alignment with our parish vision. We are delighted to announce the 2024 PMC membership. PMC members are dedicated to providing advice and support to the Parish Priest, as well as maintaining oversight of the implementation of the 2024-2028 Missionary Plan.
The PMC supports our parish journey across key areas of faith formation, worship, community engagement, missionary action, and leadership. With this capable team, we are committed to fostering a vibrant parish community that reflects our shared values and serves the needs of all parishioners.
Our 2024-28 Missionary Plan is now live. It is designed to bring our parish community closer together, uniting the 3 churches and 2 schools in our community as well as providing opportunities to engage with those who live within our parish bounds but may not yet have experienced our rich Tradition. Guided by our mission, “Together, in Christ’s Love, for Others,” and our vision, “To Know and Love God, and to be Christ to One Another,” this five-year plan consists of 103 impactful initiatives that will shape our parish’s journey over the coming years.
The plan is divided into five key areas of focus:
Grow Our Community: A total of 27 initiatives aimed at fostering a welcoming and vibrant parish community where all are encouraged to participate and grow together.
Worshipping the Lord: With 19 initiatives, this focus area emphasizes a deeper experience of worship, encouraging active participation in the liturgy, and enriching our spiritual connection with God.
Faith Formation: Comprising 18 initiatives, this segment is dedicated to enhancing the faith education of all parishioners, from children to youth to adults, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the faith.
Missionary Action: 21 initiatives will drive our parish’s missionary spirit, encouraging us to actively reach out and serve others, spreading Christ’s message through tangible actions and community service.
Parish Leadership and Communications: These 18 initiatives focus on strengthening parish leadership and improving communication, ensuring effective collaboration and transparency within our parish community.
This plan is a reflection of our commitment to growing in faith and service, together. Our Parish Missionary Council (PMC) will be instrumental in advising, supporting, and monitoring the implementation of these initiatives to ensure we stay true to our parish mission and vision and our ultimate mission as members of Christ’s Body to know and love God and to serve others.
