Yesterday, 30 November 2025, during the 9:30am Mass at St. Thomas’ Church, our parish family gathered to witness and celebrate a truly special milestone: the Rite of Acceptance for our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) candidates.

Led by Fr. Vincent Nguyen, the liturgy marked the formal entry of our candidates into the RCIA journey. With reverence and warmth, Fr. Vincent welcomed them into the community of believers, affirming their desire to grow in faith and walk more closely with Christ.

The ceremony was beautifully supported by Rose Aung Thien, our dedicated RCIA coordinator, whose tireless guidance has nurtured the candidates along the way. Alongside her, Natalie Wood, one of the sponsors, stood as a witness and companion, embodying the parish’s commitment to walk with each candidate on this path of discovery and discipleship.

The congregation responded with heartfelt prayers and encouragement, embracing the candidates as part of our family. The Rite of Acceptance is not only a step for those discerning the Catholic faith—it is also a reminder to all of us of the gift of belonging, the call to conversion, and the joy of journeying together.
As our candidates continue their preparation, we hold them in prayer and look forward to accompanying them through the next stages of RCIA. Their courage and openness inspire us all to renew our own commitment to Christ and His Church.
