A Beautiful Night in the Presence of the Lord

Last night, our LNS Parish community gathered once again at St. Leonard’s Church for a beautiful evening of silence, prayer, Scripture, reflection, and music before the Blessed Sacrament.
Every second Tuesday of the month, we come together as a community for Eucharistic Adoration, setting aside the busyness of life to simply be with the Lord. We bring with us our joys and struggles, our hopes and worries, our gratitude and our needs, both personal and communal, and place them quietly before Jesus in the Eucharist.
There is something deeply consoling about knowing that, in Adoration, we do not need to have all the right words. Sometimes it is enough simply to be there, allowing the Lord to gaze upon us with His infinite love and mercy.
Our LNS Young Adult Group helped lead the evening through beautiful, soul-filled music and the proclamation of Scripture. Their prayerful singing and reading created a peaceful atmosphere that helped everyone enter more deeply into the presence of Christ.
It was wonderful to see a good number of parishioners gathering together and taking advantage of this precious time with the Lord. In the stillness of the church, surrounded by prayer and gentle music, we were reminded that amid all the noise and demands of everyday life, our souls need moments when we can simply stop, listen, and rest in God.
Many left the church that evening feeling refreshed, renewed, grateful, and at peace, not necessarily because every problem had disappeared, but because we had spent time with the One who accompanies us through everything.
And the evening did not end at Benediction.
Afterwards, we gathered in the foyer for evening tea, where prayer gave way naturally to friendship, laughter, conversation, and warmth. It was a beautiful reminder that the Eucharist not only draws us closer to Christ but also draws us closer to one another.
What a grace it is to have these evenings each month, a sacred space where our parish family can come together, rest in the presence of Jesus, and allow Him to renew our hearts.
Thank you to everyone who came, prayed, sang, read, served, and shared in this beautiful evening. May the peace we received before the Blessed Sacrament continue to remain with us and flow into our homes, our relationships, and our daily lives.
Until our next Holy Hour on 8 September, may we continue to carry within us the quiet assurance that Jesus is always present, always listening, and always gazing upon us with love.

Wish I was there ,I love to spend time with God .
So peaceful & fulfilling.
